    That kid in the zebra costume was asking for it.

    In college, I knew a woman who worked with orangutans at the zoo. When she had to feed them at night, the lights were low, and the big flabby-cheeked alpha male would rush her from the shadows, spit on her, and take off.

    But this works both ways; there’s an Namibian rugby player, Schalk van der Merwe (!), who wrestled his sister’s pet baboon out of a lion’s mouth. He even head-butted the cat and whacked it with a rock — and lived.
