The object in this video is a purported UFO spotted in the hours leading up to, and just after the major earthquakes in Italy on April 6th. Mr. Antonio Urzi spotted the craft moving over Milan and took the above footage.
The people over at naturalplane blog believe that a UFO sightings in the vicinity of a natural disaster might be more than just coincidence.
Pilgrims have been flocking to the small, Central Mexican town Muñoz de Domingo Arenas to witness a reported miracle at a burger shack. But are the fries really just that good, or is there an apparition of Jesus reflected in the glass window of the building? You guessed it, it’s the latter. We think the below quote from the Latin American Herald sums it up nicely:
“The image can only be seen at night because it is produced by the reflection cast by a lamp of a post and the shadow of a tree, said the daily Reforma, which published a photo of the place with the image and the pilgrims in front of it… Meanwhile, hamburgers and hot-dog sales have boomed thanks to the faithful flocking in.”
It makes good sense from a practical viewpoint to have a miracle at a burger joint. If you want your spiritual and stomach needed sated in one go, but don’t have the time or money to go see Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, then Muñoz de Domingo Arenas is the place for you.
Lake Kanas is China’s deepest freshwater lake. It is also home to Chinese equivalent of the Loch Ness Monster. The video above shows a scene of something moving quite quickly over the surface of the water. It’s not really clear what it is, but this video is just about as compelling any video evidence that has ever been put forward supporting the existence of Nessie (i.e. Not very). Archeologists have uncovered an ancient wooden replica of Stonehenge at the Hill of Tara in Ireland. Pictured above is an artist’s rendering of the massive ring as it would have looked in its heyday. Scientists speculate that it would have taken an entire forest of trees to provide enough wood for it’s epic circumference.

1 minute and 48 seconds into the above video you see a strange ball of light that appears to leap across the screen from one grouping of clouds to another just as the plane is taking off from the aircraft carrier. This video is being touted on youtube as proof of UFOs. But is the freaky ball of light an object in the sky or something much closer to the camera?
Workers constructing a Dungeon Attraction at historic Warwick Castle were put off there work by Site Manager Paul Woodfield’s encounters with a ghost. Claiming to have seen a figure of a slender man wandering the grounds, the head of the project ordered his workers to halt construction until the ghostly apparitions could be explained. These reported ghost sightings come during efforts to build a tourist attraction that would include actor’s dressing up as ghosts and the undead to frighten visitors in the “Torture Chamber”. Wait a minute….construction site, spooky castle, unexplained hauntings, actors dressed like ghosts….this sounds suspiciously like an episode of Scooby-Doo.
Archeologists have been unearthing massive structures in the Jordan Valley that appear to be shaped like feet when viewed from the sky. The ancient structures, that date back to the 12 Century BCE, were apparently used as rallying point for troops and ceremonies. The discovering team pondered the Ancient’s decision to shape the structures like feet:
The sites have been shown to be consistent with the biblical description of “Gilgals”, Hebrew for camp, a term used heavily in the bible. These foot shaped structures would be the first archeological evidence for the existence of Gilgals if so. The above photo still kind of looks like an ear to us.

Jennifer Madrigal in Ogden, Utah filed a complaint to local police claiming another woman had cursed her. Allegedly during a dispute about food stamps, the offending party cursed the Utah woman that she would be hit by a car. According to Madrigal, this forced her to seek out a witch doctor, who charged $800 to remove the curse with an egg ritual. But hey, it probably would have cost more to hire a lawyer to file a court order to get the curse lifted.
When we were little kids, we all asked the question: If I swallow a seed, will it sprout and start growing inside my stomach? Only to be reassured by our parents that no such thing could ever happen. No one ever thought to ask about inhaling a seed. The above x-ray was taken of Artyom Sidorkin’s lung. Surgeons operated on what they believed was a tumor, when they finally got sight of the cancerous growth, they were shocked to find that it was a 5 centimeter piece of Fir Tree. Estimating that it was far too large to pass through the air passageways leading to the lungs, they came to the realization that he must have inhaled a spore, which germinated and started growing in his soft, spongy lung tissue. Sidorkin was just relieved that it wasn’t cancer.

We now know which side the dolphins have chosen in the international political game. When suspected Somali pirates attempted to approach a Chinese merchant ship in the Gulf of Aden, thousands of dolphins leaped out of the water blocking their passage in an amazing spectacle. The dinky pirate boats were unable to make their way through the convoy of dolphins and were forced to turn back. Prompting us to ask: Where were these heroic dolphins when Somali pirates hijacked an American ship last week?
The Ghost of a pregnant, South African Nun, that haunts a house in Bathurst, has been doling out interior design tips to her earthly hosts. Marilyn Michau, the owner of the home, was reportedly dropping her daughter off for a consultation with a local medium, when the medium approached her and told her that she had a message from the nun. Michau, who had noticed strange and haunting anomalies around her house was not surprised that the nun was trying to communicate with her. According to Michau:
Michau followed the nun’s advice, though here at WeirdThings, we would be hesitant to accept any fashion advice from a nun. The pregnant nun was said to have offed herself when her illicit affair with a local man was discovered. We’d like to think she would have considered the immaculate conception defense first, but without her sacrifice Michau’s house wouldn’t look nearly as nifty.

The Falmouth beast, from Cornwall in the UK, has been spotted again. And according to locals it looks like a Liofoxaroo. Check out the Falmouth Packet to find out more about the bizarre crypto creature.
The Shroud of Turin has been, well, shrouded in mystery for centuries. It tempts the hopeful and irks the skeptics. The Vatican refuses to comment on the authenticity of the cloth that wrapped Jesus’ body after the crucifixion. It seems a little convenient that they have now used a secret order of Knights to explain the shroud’s whereabouts during a serious record gap. Especially when you consider that three independent carbon dating tests, performed during the eighties and published in ‘Nature Magazine’, confirmed that the shroud was created at least 1300 years after the crucifixion during the middle ages. So until concrete evidence can be found, claims that the Knights Templar secretly guarded the shroud for a hundred years seem speculative at best.
What you see above is The Devil’s Millhopper, a genuine hellmouth (according to local legend) which has been the centuries-old site of sacrifice and kidnapping for Beelzebub’s benefit. It also looks like a Northwest Florida hole in the ground.

A new species of freshwater fish has been discovered in the streams of Myanmar, and it’s kind of freaky looking. What makes the fishy counterpart of Nosferatu so unusual is that the characteristic fangs are not actually fangs at all, but fake fangs developed as an extension of the jaw. According to Live Science:
The newly discovered minnow species called the dracula fish apparently spent 30 million years redeveloping superficial fangs after losing its vampire-looking teeth earlier in its evolution.
Whether the fangs are fake or not they still look like they could put a couple of puncture marks in your neck, if the fish wasn’t a tiny minnow.
The UFO Casebook has published a photo of a purported “Drone Like UFO” taken in Petten, Holland in 2007. The craft reportedly hovered for about half an hour before disappearing mysteriously. It certainly appears to be an Unidentified Flying Object, but does that necessarily mean it’s of alien origin?
