Podcast: Zombie Nazis In Space
Posted by Editor on April 6th, 2011Before the big SpaceX announcement, the boys debate their relative excitement levels while Brian levies accusations of bigotry against NASA. Andrew questions the merit of a claim that the Chupacabra was inspired by the alien in Species and posits his own theory. Justin reads a listener scenario that eventually forces Hitler to try and kiss one of his high command right on the lips.

Great episode, guys.
The continued references to Primer has renewed my interest in the movie. I even ended up buying the DVD, since Netflix isn’t streaming it any longer. Anyway, here’s a fan created timeline for the movie that was posted on Primer’s official forum, I found it helpful in following the events of the movie: http://primermovie.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1180&sid=3cc630aaab19fabdee70bbd7c0959d9f
How about a Primer related scenario? Let’s say Justin is struck by lightning and it temporarily scrambles his brain. During this altered state he creates a larger version of the box from the move, as well as an instruction book for how to use the box and build other boxes. The box-machine is big enough to fit three people. Eventually Justin recovers and returns to his normal thought processes. He shares his creation with Andrew and Brian, and somehow proves that it works, so that they don’t just dismiss him and his crazily-built box. The box functions just like the movie version, and even has the same eventual side effects. What do the three of you decide to do with the box?

Did you have to bring up Stephanie Meyer in relation to the LDS church? We’ve been trying to distance ourselves from her. Or at least I have. (At least you didn’t bring up Glenn Beck. THAT GUY IS CRAZY.)

This may not be the right place to ask this, but is there any way the podcast can have the gain cranked up a bit, even at max volume on my Android phone it is just a little too quiet to hear clearly whilst commuting. I don’t have the same problem with any other podcast.

My problem with OSC isn’t that he has views different than mine. My problem is that he feels the government should be overthrown if gays get more rights. What an asshole.

I was pretty sure that I was going to like Grendel’s Shadow. Then I heard the preview read by Justin, and then I bought Blackwater.

I love your podcasts.. including this one, but i had to crank my phone / car stereo to hear it, and even my home theater was damn near maxed out to hear it over cooking.
*edit* i just re listened, and I am assuming that the editing out of the noise caused the volume to be lowered 🙁
