Video: Boy Gets Harpooned in the Face!
Posted by Tony on June 23rd, 2012Just…Is there really anything to say? Sixteen-year-old Yasser Lopez was diving off the coast of Florida with friends when one of these said friends accidentally fired a harpoon…into his FACE!
Although the three-foot harpoon somehow missed any significant area of his brain, Lopez is still having trouble remembering the incident, has a loss of feeling down the left side of his body and will be in recovery for several months.
Guess who’s gonna impress the ladies when him and his friends sit around and start talking about their scars and how they got them?
Harpoon…in the face!

At least he didn’t take an arrow to the knee. That would prove fatal (for his role as an adventurer).

My favorite part about this is (and all head injuries) is that it’s somehow possible to miss “every significant area of the brain”.
One would think that our brains would be a little more fragile.
