Lego Man Washes Ashore

A gigantic lego man has washed ashore in Siesta Key, Florida. Acording to Boing Boing, the 8-foot tall Lego traveller has previously washed ashore in Holland and England.

It’s horrible. These must be some of the poor souls that perished in the sinking of the Legotania back in WW I.

Is it made of plastic? Seems like some other material looking at the surface, seems painted. The other one, did it have a number and and a name at the back?
A lot of questions, no answers. This smells viral campaigning, any lego related stuff opening soon nearby?
